My father used Vista for a little while. He says that it is a nice upgrade from XP but it uses a lot of system resources. He said that it looks great but isn't worth the slowed down computer. I guess if you have a great setup it would be worth trying.
I heard Windows Vista has a lot of bugs, such as shutting down at inappropriate times and glitches that haven't been fixed. It is like a beta phase and I have heard lots of complaints about this product, so I wouldn't recommend it.
I agree with Lucy. If you have Windows Vista, your computer is very slow. I don't know why it is so slow, but whenever I run internet explorer, it takes almost 3-5 seconds to load! Whenever I use WINXP, it takes .3 seconds!

That's because Vista requires high system specification. It doesn't matter if your processor's Centrino, Core Duo etc, your computer will still have slow response. Unless you're using XP with high specification. Or you can use MacOS (if you're loaded) or Linux (most of them are free but it's not user friendly).
